Top 100 Power Metal Albums of all time according to Rateyourmusic
Saw this on on another site. This list is based on ratings by 1000s of metal fans worldwide so you have to give some value to the findings. My own collection has 49 of the 100 on original CD. I used to own some others but sold/traded them. What do you think of the list? The list has some stuff that I would think might be outside the true PM genre but its cool to see what others are thinking of when they are asked about

Can't say I agree with some of those, but with Limp Bizkit having two albums in the Top 5, I can't say I totally disagree either.
We did a list like this back in 2007. I checked through our history and we haven't done one since. Sooooo, let's start a new one. I'm sure some people's lists have changed since that time anyhow and we have a ton of new people.

This is a little interesting list i came across. Too bad it's not in order.
The Heaviest album i've ever heard is The Birthday Party's live compilation Live 1981-82 which is about as violent/extreme/heavy any rock band can get.
