Perfect Pitch, can it really be learnt?

I'm a little bit confused about perfect pitch to say the least. Some people claim that it's something that some people are born with while others say perfect picth is something to learn and that everyone can learn it. Andrew for example says that with "mind play" you will eventually aquire perfect pitch. So what are your takes on it? Have any of you guys and girls perfect pitch? First of all, any here have perfect pitch ( able to play the exact note you hear ), or a good relative pitch so you're able to play by ear? Myself do have on above average relative pitch, but not that good... Off-topic...: I got myself a little
If you have developed perfect pitch you start to enjoy music more correct? But what if in one of your favorite contemporary songs, the singer sings a quarter tone off key? Would you stop liking certain music you listened to before?
does anyone have any good excercises for staying in pitch? I have a pretty good ear.. but I easily go flat in the middle of a sentence -.-
