Why are two octave scales so tricky?
My piano teacher has taught me to play on the C, G, and F key already so I learned to play a one octave two handed scale with proper fingering. So I thought I'd try two octaves. Whats wierd is that when I play 2 ocatves one hand at a time it's easy but if I play two octaves with two hands I mess up somewhere. I have sheets with all the scales with proper fingering so I know Their right but I mess up somewhere.

1. If I'm learning a new song, is there any way I can identify which scale it's played in (by ear)?
2. Are there some chords that go well with specific scales?
3. How do I choose which chord to start on and what chord progression would be a good one?
