Phrases to help you learn Bass

I was looking up info on learning the notes on the bass scale and the fretboard and here are so phrases to help you memorize them.

On a bass scale the lines are, "Good Bassists Dont Forget Anything" so the bottom line would be G then B, D, F, and the top would be A

The spaces are, "All Cows Eat Grass" So the bottom space would be A, then C, E, and the top would be G

How to learn the notes on the bass fretboard (written)
Ok, ok, this is a simple blog post, but I feel it needs to be in there! I can't emphasize how important it is that you learn these notes, and where they are off by heart! It's one of the fundamental and first things you should learn as a bass player.
