Any Mark Heard fans here? Way back in the early eighties I picked up the vinyl version of "Victims Of The Age". Haven't played it for years do to lack of a working turntable. Found a reasonably priced CD copy on eBay and decided to get it.
Wire were always a great band... But I just took - at last !!! - a listen to this 2003 record, and it's REALLY REALLY good - Wire going industrial punk, with a kind of "I don't fucking care how this should sound" vibe you'll either love or hate.
This is an old article, but I was bashing dude's business sense and some one showed me this. Still don't buy it.
