The music disharmony theory and chromatic music
Since I've played piano I have learned the hitting a note and a half step from that note as a chord sounds bad or dosen't harmonize and sounds creepy. Why? I've wondered this alot. Is there any way to use these chords without sounding creepy.

What's this mysterious scale-related "skill" called?
Using the piano, I like to find the melodies of a song I'm already familiar with. Playing by ear, isn't it? (More of guessing by ear for me right now) Of course the first step is to decide what note we want to start at. Because I don't have (yet?)

I think you should make a lesson about modes. We all know what scales are by now, a scale is a set of notes with certain intervals, and how and what they are define their names. But when it comes to modes I'm completely lost. Can every scale have a mode?
